The cost of psychotherapy depends on your insurance situation. Here you will find all relevant information.
If psychotherapy is medically indicated, the costs are usually covered by private health insurance. Billing is carried out according to the fee schedule for psychotherapists (GOP). The cost of a 50-minute psychotherapy session currently ranges between €100.55 and €153.00. I bill at the 3.0x multiplier, which results in a fee of €131.15 per session.
Depending on the insurance provider and individual tariff, at least €100.55 per session is often reimbursed. Any possible difference may have to be paid privately.
Please contact your private health insurance provider before the initial consultation to clarify the conditions for reimbursement of psychotherapy treatment.
As a self-paying patient, psychotherapy can begin immediately without formalities. The treatment will not be recorded with your health insurance provider. This may be relevant, for example, if you plan to become a civil servant, change health insurance provider or take out occupational disability insurance.
The cost is €131.15 per 50-minute psychotherapy session.
Unfortunately, despite the increasing need for therapy places, no new statutory health insurance seats are being created. Treatment in my private practice can therefore not be billed through statutory health insurance. I do not offer billing through a cost reimbursement procedure.
I also do not offer billing through employers’ liability insurance associations.
